Founded by two sisters, who grew up in a family of seamstresses, Monoo’s designs are a continuation of its founders’ family's legacy in their own vision. Coming from a long lineage of fashion Monoo’s founders utilised their innate understanding and passion for clothing and design to translate their experience into their modern aesthetic, a selection of hand-made kaftans and coverups. The range is framed by buttery silk and chiffon blend fabrics nuanced by expert tailoring to produce coverups that can transcend a holiday closet. Bright captivating colours, bold shapes, and artistically designed appliqués are just some of the ways in which we express our style and they make for a special layer on top of a variety of outfits (seriously! swimwear, jeans, dresses, the options are endless!). To maintain individuality only a few garments in each fabric are produced, ensuring each Monoo pieces reflects the originality and uniqueness that they see in every women. 

Monoo have always maintained a central ethos of inclusion as their designs are offered in a one size fits all range intended to flatter and accommodate all body types. Monoo value inclusion and community, and as such their clothing is designed with everyone in mind. The kaftans are oversized and versatile, being able to be worn in a variety of ways and in different contexts.
